I can almost hear the maniacal laugh of the network news executive followed by "a young, pretty blonde girl was captured in Iraq? Excellent!"

Sensationalism at its best--the media moguls profit from this woman's sacrifice, while the American people gawk and feel self-righteous indignation on her behalf. All the while, the public is pre-occupied and does not have to face the realities of W's war.
