In Vancouver

I've been in Seattle and Vancouver the past week, enjoying the outrageously perfect weather and keeping my laptop shut for the most part. I was too busy before leaving to prepare any non-time-sensitive blog entries for use during my trip, hence the lack of new postings. I'll try to rectify that in the next few days -- certainly by Monday of next week.

Hi there - I found your journal through "The ageless project" -- I was born in 63 as well. How did you fare turning 40?:) And did you enjoy your stay in the Pacific Northwest? I live in Oregon, and love it here:)

How did I fare turning 40? You can see for yourself right here. The short form was that I got through it okay -- thanks!

Yes, I loved my trip to the Pacific Northwest. I lived there once, all too briefly, and would like to settle down there. The weather these last two weeks was nothing short of glorious. I hope the weather down your way was just as wonderful.

Hi:) Your 40th sounded delightful. Yes, the weather here today is glorious :) Mid 80's with a mild breeze. Reminds me of the song, "The Bluest Skies You'll Ever See Are In Seattle" by Perry Como. I lived in the Seattle are for many many years -- Queen Anne Hill area; then to the Olympic Peninsula area. As a young adult I have lived all over the United States, but I always knew in my heart of hearts that I'd come back to the PNW to settle, and I have:)
